A big tank for a big bike. This large capacity (approx. 23 litres) tank is ideal for converting various models of BMW to a perfect Cafe Racer.
Easy to mount using our mounting kit included – this consists of a box section bar that bolts into threaded inserts in the base of the tank and is then attached to the center-frame tube using car exhaust pipe U-bolts. Pictures attached.
On some models we notice that the master cylinder reservoir is located on the centre frame tube – our tank does not make allowance for this so if this is the case with your bike then the master cylinder will need to be relocated onto the handlebars. Relocation kits are available from various dealers.
Our price includes a fitting kit as described, full polish to a mirror finish, 1 or 2 tap bosses as required, and a Monza style fuel cap of your choice (2″ or 2.5″). A flush-fitting Aero style cap is available from an extra GBP 90.
All our fuel tanks are handmade to order from aluminium sheet using time honoured techniques. This means that no two tanks we make are actually the same, making each and every TAB tank unique.
